The Wall Street Journal iPad app has been updated, to Version 3.5. The big new addition is that it now allows you to buy single issues via In-App purchase.

Single issues go for $1.99. Right now I only see the ability to buy today’s issue, but perhaps it will be extended to back issues as well in future.

Here’s an App Store link for The Wall Street Journal iPad app; it’s a free app.

I’m not a regular reader of the WSJ, but I could see making an occasional single issue purchase – though the price seems a little steep in relative terms. What do you think? Are you likely to buy many single issues of the WSJ on the iPad?
