What Do You Think of Verizon’s First iPad Ad?

I think this ad does a nice job of touting Verizon’s network – its ‘nationwide power and reliability’ – but doesn’t say much about the iPad at all. I’m not sure that’s a great idea, given how popular the device has proved to be – but maybe they feel like Apple’s ads for it are already doing that job quite well.

I guess it feels like a better ad for a Verizon iPhone than iPad – as with the iPhone you have a whole lot of customers who are frustrated with the AT&T network – but that’s not the case with the iPad.

What do you think of the ad?

  1. That's a beautiful commercial… I was thinking I should just get one of those personal mifi connections it would save on a lot of bills I currently am having…

It's different here of course, as I am in Canada.

    1. Yeah – I think a hell of a lot of companies / rivals pick up on the 'style' factor in iPhone and iPad ads, but so many of them seem to forget that the biggest thing about these ads is that they highlight and hammer home what the products do.
