Walt Mossberg, The Wall Street Journal’s venerable Personal Technology columnist, has named the iPad as his Best Product of 2010. It finished above high-speed 4G networks, the Samsung Galaxy S and the iPhone 4.

Here’s a little on why the iPad was top of Mossberg’s list:

For a 1.0 product, the iPad was amazing. With the new iOS 4.2 operating system and its huge selection of apps, the iPad continues to stay ahead of the competition.

If Apple has a trophy cabinet for iPad end-of-year awards, they may want to think of expanding its size – as they just keep rolling in, and deservedly so of course. :)
