Reading our way to better health.
Reading our way to better health.

Apple technology has been integrated into all forms of exercise equipment and accessories. We listen to music, podcasts and books on treadmills and trails. The iPod allows us to poke and pinch our way to the next song, playlist and chapter. We track our heart rate, count our steps and graph it all out later. Heavens, the Nano even comes with turbo-boost, eh, I mean Power Song.

It is only natural that Apple be the one that makes it practical for us to read while riding a bike… a stationary bike. Just think, soon I will be reading Andy Ihnatko’s Celestial Waste of Bandwidth ( while getting in shape. Why CWOB you ask? Andy is not only a great writer, but he is the only friend I’m aware of that has held an iPad… Ok I’m jealous.

We have many iPad use case scenarios queued up, but could always use more. Please comment and share your iPad ideas below.

  1. I'm an avid blogger and I am wondering how easy it will be to blog on an ipad. How easy can I upload pictures, save links, all that jazz. Any input?

    1. Well, a good starting point may be to look at some of the existing blog editing apps for the iPhone – apps like WordPress, iBlogger, and BlogPress for example. They are all fairly capable. All allow upload of pictures, with varying degrees of flexibility and options. All should let you include / save links. Each has their drawbacks and deficiencies, but overall they're not bad. I expect we may see better still on the iPad.
