What? Windows on an iPad?
Companies like MochaSoft already have VNC technology working successfully on the iPhone and iPad Touch… see Mocha VNC. Just think of what they’ll be able to do with iPad’s additional screen real estate. Soon computer guys and gals everywhere will be walking around with iPads in their hands and smiles on their faces.

I use LogMeIn on my iPhone. The service works well, the iPhone implementation is clever and usable. Running on the iPad with its' large screen would be a joy to behold!
My fave on the iPhone has been WinAdmin for Terminal Services access – but I agree, remote access in general should be superb on the iPad.
I'll be using mine for navigation on my sailboat. A maxed out ipad with programs like Navionics or iNavX will come in at less than half the price of comparable marine navigation chartplotters. I still plan to have a dedicated chartplotter, but other stations below deck will be iPads….or so thats the plan.
