Countdown to iPad – Podcast Cohort (Use Case 36)

Nothing embodies new media quite like podcasts, they are neither tied to time nor device. And just as blogs have given way to millions of citizen journalists, podcasts have ushered in the era of personal/proletariat broadcasting.

Podcasts deserve a catcher/cohort just as footloose and fancy free… they deserve to be seen and heard on the iPad. Breaking free of past paradigms, the iPad epitomizes the autonomy of the podcast, providing new avenues of creation, expression and sharing.

So grab your iPad, curl up on the couch and catch a cast. While you are at it, lend an ear to one of my favorites, Mac OS Ken, “Daily Mac/Apple News with Attitude.” Listen as Ken chronicles the company that brought us the iPad so we can listen to podcasts that chronicle the company that brought us the iPad so we can listen to podcasts that… well you get the picture.

iPad – soon to be seen in the company of podcasts everywhere.

Countdown to iPad Series – There are countless articles and posts citing what the iPad isn’t or won’t be good at. We think they are wrong. Join us as we celebrate the countdown to iPad’s debut by posting a daily iPad use case. Think of the possibilities!

We have many iPad use case scenarios queued up, but could always use more. Please comment and share your iPad ideas below.

  1. Why would anyone want a device that restricts so many websites??? This thing is outdated before it's even out. The new Evo by HTC is going to blow this out of the water! The fact that Apple is waiting to put camera on this thing makes me sick. I can't wait to sell my iPhone and switch to Sprint, be next to someone with the iPad and let him borrow my faster 4G connection from my mobile! Bwhahaha!
