That sounds awesome. It is a bit over my head musically however. What about a second iPad next to the 1st one?

OK, but what about something to manage chord sheets? A lot of musicians play at bars and even churches with sheets that list the lyrics with the chords transcribed over them, like this:
      C F C
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound...

A great app would be able to manage a library of chord sheets, put together a "set list" (list of songs in the order to be played), and offer the ability to transpose a song (change the key in which it's played). Also, the ability to jot down info on the sheets (which amp/effects settings, reminders about the intro, etc.).

There is already software that does this on Tablet PCs and any other computer:
<a href="http://www.musicreader.net" target="_blank">www.musicreader.net</a>
It will also be available for the Apple IPad.

Photo #2: quite an elegant solution! clever too. For visual artists--seems an iPad would make a stunning portfolio, too.

I teach a style of yoga called Kundalini Yoga. I have hundreds if not thousands of yoga sets (aka kriyas) to pick from each time I teach. Traditionally I've kept these in binders and have carried around a subset of them with me when I go to teach. I'm planning to scan all my favourites and add them to my iPad. It will also be nice to have notes and yogic texts with me everywhere I go...and maybe even videos of yoga masters I can show on a projector.

A swipe would be a huge improvement over what I do now. A tap like the with the ebooks that Jobs showed would also be nice. Auto turn from detection when you're at the end of the page would be... dare I say "magical?"

Swiping to turn the page? I imagined better. How about an iPad sheet music app that can listen and detect when you're near the end of the page, and then turns it for you.....
