If you’re after something unique and artistic for your iPad wallpaper, you may want to take a look at William Fahey’s small set of free fine art paintings turned into wallpapers for iPad and iPhone. Here’s a little bit of background from Fahey on the inspiration for these:

Paintings created out of a love for mythology, science fiction, foreign cultures, ancient civilizations, surrealist and symbolist art, the cosmos, and the visual poetry of human experience.

Most of these are more ‘busy’ than I like for use on the iPad home screen – though they may work nicely on the lock screen. And I really can’t recall the last time I saw a grizzly bear and dolphins in the same wallpaper. Smile
