This Week’s Favorite New iPad Home Screen Wallpaper

Share This:

I like a change of pace on my iPad 2’s home screen wallpaper fairly often. I tend to take a look around every week or two to see what’s new in a couple of very good wallpaper apps and at web sites for walls and so on.

On my lock screen I like to use more personal images – of family, including my devastatingly handsome Labrador. On the home screen I tend to like abstract images best, like the dark one above from the latest batch of walls in the excellent Pimp Your Screen iPad wallpapers app.

It looks great on the home screen:

The ‘Recent’ section of Pimp Your Screen is always full of lots of great looking and eye-catching walls for the iPad. Last night I found quite a few that I liked the look of before settling on this abstract one.

What’s your favorite way to treat your iPad wallpapers? What sort of images do you use? Do you use the same image on both home and lock screen?

  1. I like that! I’m using one that I stole, the London Eye.

I wonder if someone would make an app for iPhone and iPad that would allow wallpapers to rotate day-to-day or on a schedule.

Do you think that would be a good idea?

    1. Ummm, maybe. It’s been done before in the jailbreak arena I think. I bet some people would like that a whole lot. Myself, I’d rather change less often than that and also be able to choose what I change to each time.
