This week a couple if typography based iPad wallpapers caught my eye. Both are by Brett Jordan – no relation except that he’s a very prolific contributor to our iPad Insight Flickr group.

The one shown above is called Pointillist Palatino Italic Ampersand and I think it’s very striking. A good one for use on the iPad home or lock screen, or both.

Here’s the second one that grabbed my attention:

This one is Caslon 540 Italic Ampersand.

I think both look very good on my iPad’s home screen:
