Today’s weekend iPad wallpaper choices are all abstract shapes and patterns created in just a few minutes over the last couple of evenings on my iPad mini.
The first one, shown above, I’m just calling Black Blue & Yellow Squares. It’s a little louder than my usual color choices but I find it striking and think it looks great on the iPad home screen.
Hit the break for three more of these homemade abstract iPad wallpapers …
Next up is Random Blues:
Here is Shades of Green:
And finally Deep Grey Squares:
I think all of these look just great on my iPad home screen of course. Here’s a couple of them in use:
All of these were created using the excellent new Deko app. Here is a bit of its App Store description:
Create your own beautiful abstract images, patterns and wallpapers with a simple swipe of your finger. Deko allows you to build galleries, save new wallpapers and share your stunning and unique designs with friends.
The possibilities are endless as each pattern is always different. The interactive image creation allows you to subtly shift a pattern’s shapes or colors with a light swipe, or to create a fresh design with a full swipe gesture.
The app is free and I paid $1.99 for an In-App purchase to allow high quality export of images.
You can download any of these images from our iPad Insight Flickr group page, where you’ll find them in a range of sizes.
If you have some favorite iPad wallpapers you’d like to show off I hope you’ll consider sharing them to our group.
Happy home screen decorating.
