This weekend’s iPad wallpapers are three stunning cityscape sort of images from the excellent Backdrops Retina Wallpaper app.
First up is the image above, titled London Calling and done by JoJoJohnDoe. London is one of the world’s truly great cities, and I was lucky enough to live there for more than 10 years. I just love shots like this that show off Tower Bridge and the Thames. When my wife and I visited together one of our best times was taking a night-time cruise and taking in all the beautifully lit classic structures along the river.
Next up is this superb image of the Eiffel Tower titled La Dame de Fer (The Iron Lady), done by Philippe Clairo:
Last but not least is this gorgeous iPad wallpaper titled Florence Sunset by Emmanuel Iarussi:
Of course all of these look just great on the iPad home screen, and for me the London image has special meaning.
Please note the images in this post are not at full retina quality resolution. You can get the full range of sizes, including 2048X2048 retina quality at our iPad Insight Flickr group page. I hope you’ll give that page a look and share some of your favorite iPad wallpapers too.
