This weekend’s iPad wallpapers are four more retina sized images for the new iPad (though they’re also available at a range of other sizes) that were posted in our iPad Insight Flickr group.

The first one, shown above, is called Hello. It was posted by Lisa Solonynko, and it’s one my daughter will absolutely adore. She’s fascinated by animals of all kinds, and I don’t think she’s ever met a kitten or puppy that she didn’t find adorable.

Here’s a second contribution from Lisa. This one is called Fire. It’s a little too much red for my taste but I imagine others may find it stunning.

And here are two cosmos themed retina iPad wallpapers from our stalwart contributor Brett Jordan (no relation) – Cosmos 06 and Cosmos 09, respectively:

I think all of these look quite striking on iPad home and locks screens, but Cosmos 6 is my clear favorite for this week. Just for my daughter, I’ll share the Kitties let loose on the lock screen too.
