Today’s iPad wallpaper choices are a little different – these are all wallpapers that I made myself using the excellent new Gradiator app. Gradiator is a single-purpose app – it helps you design gradient images and it’s just brilliant.
My first wallpaper is the Blue Green Angular one shown above – with the gradient effect applied to an Apple logo wallpaper.
Hit the break for three more I created with Gradiator and a look at a couple of them on the iPad home screen …
Next up is Yellow Red 3D, shown above.
Here’s just a simple blue and white gradient image:
Finally this Red Green Blue linear gradient image:
And here are my two of these looking good on my iPad home screen:
The Blue Green one shown at the top of this post is definitely my favorite at the moment. The app I used doesn’t currently have an option to save these at the typical 2048X2048 resolution used for new iPad retina wallpapers – though it does have a 2560X2560 option. The images on the post here are at just 1024X1024. I’ve uploaded them at 1920X1920 to our iPad Insight Flickr group.
If you’ve got some favorite iPad wallpapers you’d like to share, please share them at our Flickr group – we’d love to see them and maybe even feature some of them one weekend.
I’m really enjoying the Gradiator app and will do a review of it soon – in the meantime here’s an App Store link for it. It’s priced at $0.99.
