OT: New Apprentice Deputy Dawg Editor

As some of you may recall, my big, beautiful Yellow Lab, Newton, passed away a few weeks back.  I’ve been around and owned dogs all my life and never known a dog as big-hearted and wonderful as him.  He’ll always be sorely missed and ever so fondly remembered.

This week we’ve adopted a lovely black Lab girl called Wanda.  So there is a new Apprentice Deputy Dawg Editor for the site.  I’m glad we found her, and look forward to working with her. :)

  1. She looks like a sweetheart! She has the same soft brown eyes as my wonderful Black Lab / Shepherd cross. Congrats, man!

  2. I used to have a big black lab. He was a huge wad of trouble. And I loved him anyway! Congrats on the new member of the family!

    1. Maybe she was a fish in another life, but now she's all Lab lady. And yeah – our big guy was rescued from a local shelter as well – always try to support them.
