One Compass Mobile Stand for iPad / iPad 2 To Be Won

Contest Deadline: Sunday August 21st, 2:00PM US Central

I posted yesterday about Twelve South’s Compass Mobile Stand for the iPad and iPad 2 now being available in a few colors – iPad Silver, Tactical Black, and Candy Apple Red. I did a review of the Compass Mobile Stand for iPad last year – and I was and remain hugely impressed with this versatile and ultra-portable iPad stand.

Because I’ve already reviewed the stand I didn’t want to ask for a review unit, but I did ask for one to offer up to readers, and the kind folks at Twelve South have obliged. So now you’ve all got a chance to win one of these slick stands. Hit the jump for details on how easy it is to enter for a chance to win …

How To Win:

— Leave a comment on the post and you’re in with a shot at winning.

— For a bonus entry, tell us what’s your favorite feature of the Compass Mobile Stand or how you think it would prove most useful for you. Check out my review linked above or the Twelve South product page for it to get some ideas if you need.

That’s it. We’ll pick our random winner on Sunday.

*** Please Note: This contest is for US residents only.

  1. Favorite feature for me would have to be the extremely compact form factor. Very minimalist, very much seems like it was meant to be with something Jony I’ve designed.

I would love to use it at work so I could run a slideshow of my family and travels.

    Good stuff!

  2. I love how the compass works with the Apple case, which I keep on my iPad, and will allow me to watch videos, read books, and type my homework: three of the tasks I use my iPad for daily. Thanks for the chance to win one!

  3. Would love to have a Compass for my iPad so it would stylishly sit next to my MacPro and can be easily folded and follow me when I am on the go in a jiffy. I’ve been looking for a solid, elegant AND portable stand for my iPad for a while, and eventually come to Twelve South (again!! already own the “Arc”) because there is simply no other contender to them in style. Plastic stand for an iPad… hmm, no, not cool. I like it that Compass stand is made of aluminum (solid!), complements iPad’s style (elegant!), and is easy to take with you (portable!).

  4. I want one because I want one! I do not have any type of stand and it gets uncomfortable to hold. My priorities veer toward comfort now that I’ve retired and have more time than money, so please support this senior in my comfort quest. Of course it’s how it looks is one of those “needless to say” things that makes life a bit less frumpy and has a superb cool factor!

  5. The minimalist, compact, industrial design is a winner for me. It’s the perfect portable solution for my mobile needs. In addition, the price for such a beautiful piece of equipment is very pleasing, considering how much a comparably elegant stand costs.
Would love to win one, but will buy one if I don’t. I’ll also recommend it to my iPad wielding associates. Good job 12 South. Great review Patrick.

  6. The local Detroit TV anchors use the Compass to hold their iPads on their desk during the broadcasts. It looks teriffic and professional and I’d love to have one of my own.
Looks easy to carry too-just like the iPad. Plus you can use it to hold the iPad at varying angles.

  7. The Compass Mobile Stand for the iPad/iPad2 would be ideal due to the size, portability and flexibility of the product’s use. Being portable, it will serve well for heavy business travelers; and especially for those in marketing and sales to pitch to clients. Keeping up with technology in your business is a plus, but having the right tools and accessories is a win-win. Should I be the recipient of one, I would definitely consider branding them with our own company logo too. Hope I win one!!!!

    Thanks,

    Kim
