Dreaming About an Apple Christmas Surprise

If you follow the Apple News cycle on Twitter, then you are probably aware of well-known leaker @L0vetodream. He’s famous not only for his accuracy, but also his cryptic and often poetic rumor delivery. While the flurry of Apple leaks and rumors that he and several others were a part of from summer to fall has subsided, he left us with an interesting parting nugget a few weeks ago that may set him apart from the rest of the crowd.

On Saturday, I wrote about a rumor that parts for the iPad Air are about to head into production this quarter. While that’s good news, this does mean that the new Air won’t be out this summer. Tile Tries to Take a Bite Out of Apple

Tile decided to take its beef with Apple mainstream last week, testifying before a U.S. House Judiciary Committee’s antitrust subcommittee in Colorado on Friday. Their argument is based on the facts that Apple removed Tile’s products from Apple Retail Stores, added limitations and and mandatory reminders to apps that use Location Services in iOS 13 and that Apple doesn’t allow them access to the new Ultra Wide Band chip in the latest iPhones. They also claim that Apple’s FindMy app is a knockoff of their own product.

Is Apple Done Releasing Hardware for 2019?

A week ago yesterday, Apple announced their new AirPods Pro with a press release and got the tech world talking. For those of us who ordered early enough or found them in stock, they arrived just a few days later. It was easy to assume they wouldn’t be the only new Apple items released before the Christmas shopping season, either, as Apple rolled out a few new items over consecutive days back in the Spring via press releases.
