I got my first Apple Watch on launch day in April of 2015 and there has only been one month since that I haven’t owned and worn one. That first one was a Sport model in silver with a blue Sport Band. I remember how excited I was on launch day to hold what felt like a piece of the future. I remember wearing out the battery trying out every app and feature that first week. However, like the new shine on many gadgets, that faded over time. In fact, my time and experience with the Series 0 was much the same as many others- mixed.

Apple Watch Buyer’s Guide

So you’ve been thinking about getting an Apple Watch, but you haven’t pulled the trigger yet. If price is the issue, then I would definitely recommend further thought and research on whether it will deliver enough value to you based on what you are looking for and how you will use it. Even with a newly reduced starting price of $249, this still isn’t a trivial purchase. If the hang up is due to confusion over the various models, then look no further. Apple Watch Series 3 Coming Before the End of the Year?

This week brought us a couple of reports that a new Watch will be coming sooner than many tech experts thought. The Series 1 and 2 Apple Watches were released in September of 2016, and as with the 1st Gen, or Series 0 Watch as some call it, there was reason to think Apple would give them more than a just a one year product cycle. However, according to both Mark Gurman and others at Bloomberg and John Gruber of Daring Fireball, a new Apple Watch will be here before the end of the year.
