Some Top EA Games for iPad On Sale at 60% Off Today

EAGameIcon

Some of EA’s top iPad games have had big price drops this weekend. It’s not as much of an across-the-board sale as on holiday weekends, but there are definitely some nice 60% off deals on some of EA’s popular iPad titles. For example, these slashed prices:

Monopoly for iPad: $9.99 to $3.99

Need for Speed Shift for iPad: $9.99 to $3.99

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for iPad: $9.99 to $3.99

FIFA 11 for iPad: $9.99 to $3.99

I haven’t seen an announcement on these and they look more like just standard short-run price drops; but even so, some good bargains to be had. Sneak Peek – EA’s Dead Space Coming to iPad and iPhone

DeadSpace

Our friends over at iSource.com posted some preview screenshots of a big new game title from EA that is coming to the iPad and iPhone. Dead Space will have separate versions for each device and the preview pics for the iPad version sure look great.

If you’re not familiar with the game, as I wasn’t until recently, here’s some Intro information on it, straight from EA’s page for it:

Dead Space from EA is sure to please any action-adventure gamer looking for a bloody battle against deadly aliens.

Dead Space for PC begins when a massive mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes in contact with a mysterious alien artifact and suddenly loses its communications with Earth. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura’s communications, but arrives to find a floating vessel that has become a complete bloodbath. The crew is mutilated and infected with an ancient alien scourge.

Clarke’s repair mission is transformed to one of survival as he fights to save himself and return the artifact to the planet at any cost.

There’s no release date announced yet for this one, but it looks like it could be another hit for EA once it hits the App Store.
