Feeddler – my favorite RSS app for the iPad – has just had another update this week, to Version 1.4. This update has added some decent new features (especially the two I’ve highlighted below) and a couple of bug fixes:

+ Supports viewing all items in folders.
+ Persists unread filter and sorting option between launches.
+ Supports showing only feeds/folders with unread items.
+ Supports full-screen landscape mode for articles and web.
+ Supports button toggling.
+ Optional feed caching.
+ Improved app performance.
*** FIXED ***
√ Fixed crashes.
√ Fixed unopened links.
√ Stopped audio properly.
Both the Pro and standard (free) versions of the app have been updated and you can find the latest versions in the App Store now.
Feeddler RSS Reader – my favorite iPad RSS app – has just had a big update, to Version 1.3.
The first big news in this update is that it’s now a universal app, so it can be run on iPhones as well. I’ll certainly be giving it a try on my iPhone very soon.
The iPad version – and especially the Pro version – has also got a number of very nice new features in this update …

Feeddler RSS Reader for iPad is the best iPad RSS app – with full Google Reader sync – that I’ve come across so far.
I’m a heavy user of Google Reader and an avid reader of RSS feeds – so finding a favorite RSS app on the iPad has been a mission for me from Day 1 with the iPad. I’ve been using Feeddler RSS Reader for iPad for several weeks now, along with a few other rival apps, and it has rapidly become my go-to app for RSS.
