Cradle Slate is a company that touts itself as dedicated to producing new ipad / tablet computer bags to help our customer look good carrying these devices. I’m not opposed to looking good when I’m out and about with my iPad (or at least doing my best to have the iPad looking sharp) so I agreed to take a look at their Cradle Slate iPad Bag.

The Cradle Slate iPad Bag is premium quality, premium priced, all-rounder sort of bag for the iPad. Or as the strapline on the product page for it reads:

Light weight protection. Luxurious Design. Simplicity and function in one very cool package.

I’ve had mine for several weeks now and as always I’ve got some thoughts to share on what’s to like and what’s not so great about this iPad bag.

Featured iPad Accessory: The Haversack


Here’s a general purpose bag that works as an iPad transporter that caught my eye this week.  It’s called the Haversack and the folks at Duluth Pack were kind enough to email me about it this week.  Apparently they’re fans of the site (Yay!) and big fans of the iPad.  They’ve also been hand making bags in Minnesota for 128 years, and currently make custom bags for Barneys New York , Urban Outfitters, and Inventory Magazine.
