The tech world is pretty stable at the top, where CEOs and high ranking staff at the biggest companies often stay in one place for long periods of time. However, there are still interesting moves that take place, sometimes by choice and others times, well, not so much. Such was the case for Steven Sinofsky, at least if you believe what the tech press had to say about his departure from Microsoft back in 2012.

It’s only been a few days, but I think I’m entering new territory here. After kicking the tires on both 2020 iPad Pro sizes, I just don’t see a compelling reason to upset my apple cart (yeah, I know) and get rid of my 2018 12.9″ Pro. I don’t have a need for LiDAR and most of the small upgrades that are included don’t impact the way I use the device at work or at home.

Meet the New iPad Pro. Pretty Much the Same as the Old iPad Pro

Normally it doesn’t take too much of an update to an iPad, iPhone or Apple Watch to still get me excited. I still want to get my hands on modest upgrades and see what these new devices bring to the table. Because of this, I was typically excited when new iPad Pros were announced last week. However, as the days wore on, the realization set in that most of the “new features” that came with these Pros were really the trackpad support, which applies to all iPads compatible with iPadOS 13.4, and the Magic Keyboard, which will also be compatible with the 2018 iPad Pros.

New iPad Pros Are Coming Tomorrow…

I’m an iPad fan and have been user since the original back in 2010. And here we are. This is an iPad-centric site and new iPad Pros are coming tomorrow. Normally I would be really excited. Normally there would be exclamation marks trailing the title of this post and I would be anticipating getting home from work to get my hands on new toys. Normally, we wouldn’t find ourselves in the middle of a pandemic.
