The Coming iPhone SE 2 Shows Apple’s Commitment to Keeping a Solid Smaller Device in the Lineup

The rumors of a new iPhone SE 2 have reached the point where its release seems to be a foregone conclusion. According to Japanese website Mac Otakara and known leaker Benjamin Geskin, the new phone should appear sometime between early May and the WWDC Keynote on June 4th. All of the reports rolling in seem to agree that the SE 2 will include a bump to the A10 Fusion processor, and will keep its current form factor and four inch screen. Based on that, a modest press release rollout next month ahead of WWDC seems more likely.

Are the Leaked iPhone SE 2 and the Coming LCD iPhone X Variation the Same Device?

Japanese leaks and rumors site Macokatara is at it again. Today, the people who gave us the first indication that the headphone jack was being removed from the iPhone 7 posted a video of an iPhone they refer to as the iPhone SE 2. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of a coming refresh of the SE, as Ming-Chi Kuo reported on this over a month ago. However, the phone in this video is nothing like what Kuo predicted.
