A New Smart Keyboard Design May Be Coming Later This Year

While I own a Smart Keyboard Folio for the current gen iPad Pro, I have never been a fan of this accessory. I really disliked previous versions and I primarily tolerated the Folio because it was the only keyboard case option when the current iPad Pro released. Now that I have a Brydge Keyboard and Cover, my Smart Keyboard Folio sits idle and unused.

Will Apple Up Its iPad Pro Keyboard Game in 2020?

I’m a huge fan of the iPad Pro, but I’ve been critical of one aspect of the device: the available first-party keyboard. Even though I found Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio to be better than the original Smart Keyboard, that isn’t saying much. I know these keyboards have a lot of fans, but I not among them. I just really do not like the key action AT ALL.

Living with the New iPad Pros- Trying the Dark Side Again

Back in March of 2017, I vented about how much I disliked Apple’s various keyboards, especially the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard. To be honest, dislike didn’t really go far enough. I had very briefly tried the Smart Keyboard before that and then tried it against thinking that I might have a different opinion the second time around. Going back and being disappointed again frankly just pissed me off and I went from dislike to hatred and disgust. Yeah, I know. It’s just a keyboard….that still cost $139 on Open Box sale.
