200 iPads are being used in Delta Airlines’ terminal at JFK airport in New York. They’re being installed mostly at eateries in the terminal – such as Croque Madame and Bar Brace – and being used by customers to place their food orders, send emails, and read the news. Apparently there’s not even any time limit for usage for the devices.
Delta is collaborating with a firm called OTG Management for this iPad deployment; and OTG also has plans for a similar project at New York’s LaGuardia airport.
What do you all think of using an iPad shared in a busy public place?
