Happy 2012. 2011 sure flew by. I know it was an incredibly tough year for a lot of people all around the world, for numerous reasons. I feel immensely fortunate to have come through 2011 with a family that is healthy, happy, and getting by financially. I also feel very lucky to be earning a living doing something I thoroughly enjoy and have a passionate interest in – as in, running this site and writing about iDevices and mobile technology.
This site had a great year in 2011 – and saw tremendous growth in visitors and followers. I’d like to say a huge thanks to all of you for making that happen – for visiting and reading our articles, for commenting and sharing your thoughts on our posts, for following us on Twitter and visiting our Facebook page and adding to discussions there. For helping this site grow and succeed.
I’d also like to wish all of you every success and happiness in 2012. I hope it’s a great year for you.
I’m not a big one for New Year’s resolutions – but I can say that I plan to work hard at improving iPad Insight in every way possible in 2012. I look forward to offering you strong and thorough iPad app and accessory reviews, useful iPad tips, and a great mix of iPad related content.
Now, if you have around 12 minutes or so to spare and you want to see something spectacular to kick off the new year, take a look at the London New Year’s Eve fireworks show. It’s full of great British music, absolutely incredible fireworks, and great views of some of the major London landmarks along the Thames. Crank it up full screen on an iPad – or better still blast it with AirPlay Mirroring onto a big TV.
